Government funding, Medicare & Private health fund rebates

Keiko Takenami Speech Pathology (KTSP) provides services that are eligible for the following funding programs and rebates.

NDIS

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

This scheme is for people with a "permanent and significant" disability under the age of 65 and is funded by the Australian Federal Government. KTSP is able to assist NDIS participants who are self managed or plan managed by providing Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) and Therapeutic Supports. Medicare

Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan

(Formerly known as an Enhanced Primary Care plan.)

Under this scheme, a referral from a GP is required and Speech Pathology assessment and therapy can be partially claimed via Medicare to a maximum of 5 sessions per calendar year.

Helping Children with Autism (HCWA)

With a referral from a Paediatrician or Child Psychiatrist, up to 4 Medicare Allied Health assessment sessions and up to 20 Medicare Allied Health Therapy sessions (including Speech Pathology) can be claimed via Medicare. Eligible children must be under the age of 13 at the time of diagnosis and under the age of 15 when receiving the services.
